SEGD DESIGN AWARDS 2009 CALL FOR ENTRIES

Washington, DC (United States) - The (SEGD) invites designers to submit projects for the SEGD Design Awards 2009, the annual Design Awards Program that recognises the best in environmental graphic design.
This call is open to environmental designers, graphic designers, industrial designers, graphic designers, architects, landscape architects, exhibit designers, interior designers, fabricators, clients and students, both members and non-members of SEGD.
Projects entered must demonstrate the use of graphic design elements (including but not limited to typography, symbols, pictograms, diagrams, color-coding, etc.) in the design solution and must focus on the communication of information, identity, or image in the designed environment.
Projects must have been completed in between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2008.
Winners will be determined based on the overall quality of the entries submitted, and special recognition may be given to projects developed under low budgets.
Design Award winners are honoured at the SEGD Conference + Expo each spring, featured in segdDESIGN magazine, the colour publication of SEGD, and highlighted on www.segd.org.
Deadline for entries is 30 January 2009. Deadline for late entries is 13 February 2009.
