07.03.2007 News
Boston (United States) - The DMI Board of Directors has approved the nomination
of Rob Wallace, Managing Partner, Wallace Church, Inc., to join the DMI
Advisory Council. Wallace has more than twenty years of expertise in
all visual branding strategy and design issues for national and global
brands. His core expertise is the ability to synthesise brand identity
strategy and design to create brand experiences that drive consumer
purchase behavior.
A DMI conference speaker and DMI Review author, Wallace is also a lecturer on brand identity at Columbia Business School, Georgetown University, and Seton Hall University, and author of articles and case studies featured in Package Design Magazine, POP Times Magazine and Brandweek.
"Having attended virtually every DMI annual conference, I am proud to say that I've been an active member and a passionate advocate for DMI for more than 20 years," states Wallace. "I've seen the organisation stretch its influence across geographic and corporate boarders. I confidently believe that our work has just begun as we continue to expand the role of design and design management into the C suite of major corporations and the trusted consultancies who guide them. I look most forward to working with the other advisors and more actively shaping the direction of the organisation."
Wallace Church, Inc. is one of the most globally recognized and accomplished strategic brand identity design consultancies.
Wallace will work with other DMI Advisors to further develop DMI's 2007 research agenda; which consists of design and design management competency, valuation, and futures. With 1 400 members in 44 countries, DMI is the international authority, resource and advocate on design management, and a thought leader in the areas of design management, design strategy and design leadership.
