ICOGRADA ENDORSES RED CROSS INTERNATIONAL POSTER EXHIBITION OF CHINA

Brussels (Belgium) - The 1st Red Cross International Poster Exhibition has received Icograda's endorsement.* The event will be held 20 September 2002 at the Chinese Modern Literary Museum (China), and is organised by Academy of Art and Design (Tsinghua University) and Orient Run Advertising and Art Company. Following the theme 'Mission of Red Cross: Humanity, Fairness, Philanthropy and Dedication,' the exhibition will raise awareness of the World Red Cross and its contributions to humanity and public utility.
Design companies and individuals from around the world are invited to submit posters that represent the aims and values of the Red Cross. No entry fee is required, and participants may submit a maximum of two posters until 15 September 2002. Descriptions of poster designs must be submitted in both Chinese and English. The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) will award 19 prizes, including the Icograda International Grand Prix.
RCSC was founded in 1904 and reorganised in 1950 after the establishment of the People's Republic of China. The Society actively participates in the International Red Cross Movement by protecting human life and health, providing social relief, and promoting humanity and peace.
