Richard Grefé
is the executive director of AIGA, the professional association for
design USA. AIGA, under Ric, has become the leading advocate for the
value of designing, as a way of thinking and as a means of creating
strategic value for business. He also serves as executive director of
the Aspen Design Summit and the president of AIGA Design for Democracy.
Mervyn Kurlansky
is active in design education. He lectures extensively and serves on
design juries for both educational and professional organisations
world-wide. He is co-founder of ICIS (the International Center of
Creativity, Innovation and Sustainability). He is immediate Past
President of Icograda, a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers,
the International Society of Typographic Designers, and the Royal
Society for the encouragement of the Arts, Manufacture & Commerce.
He is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale, and the
Association of Danish Designers.
Garth Walker is a
member of Alliance Graphique Internationale, British Design and Art
Direction (D&AD), The St. Moritz Design Summit and The Type
Directors Club. His work is in the collection of Bibliotheque Nationale
de France, Victoria & Albert Museum, The Smithsonian and a number
of University collections in Europe, Australia, China and the USA.
Lise Vejse Klint
is currently President of Danish Designers, Board Member of the Danish
Art Foundation and Board Member of the Danish Design School. She
graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of
Architecture with a combined degree in Architecture and Graphic Design
in 1993 and thus has a natural inclination to the interdisciplinary
approach to design that has become such a focus of the design world
today.
Jacques Lange is partner and creative
director at Bluprint Design. He is an advisor to various NGOs,
governmental and education institutions, president of Icograda and lead
chair of the International Design Alliance (IDA), chair of the Icograda
Foundation, and a steering committee member of the SABS Design
Institute's Design Acheievers Awards.
