EMZIN ANNOUNCES 'HIGH ANXIETY', EXHIBITION BY DESIGNER ALEKSANDER MAÃAÐEV

Ljubljana (Slovenia) - An exhibition showcasing the work of communication designer Aleksander Maãaðev, entitled 'High Anxiety', will open at NLB Galerija Avla in Ljubljana on 19 March 2008, 20:00. The event has been organised by International Design Media Participant, , in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and the City of Ljubljana, Department of Culture.
Maãaðev is a member
of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). He has exhibited and lectured at home and abroad, and his works have been published in books and magazines around the world. He is a member of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). His works are regularly presented on his blog, A personal/ professional diary of a visual-culture worker. For the past three years he has been living and working between the United States and Serbia and currently lives in New York. www.macasev.com
The exhibition will be on display between 8:00 and 18:00 every business day until 14 May 2009.

The designer Aleksandar Maãaðev will be present at the opening. Born in
1971 in Beèej, former Yugoslavia, Maãaðev graduated from the Faculty of
Architecture, University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1998. He works in a variety of visual culture
disciplines, including graphic/web design, web/net art, mass-media art
and visual communications. He has exhibited and lectured at home and abroad, and his works have
been published in books and magazines around the world. |
