Icograda Student Workshop
20-24 June 2002
In June 2002, Brno (Czech Republic) will be the site of the Icograda 'East Meets West' Student Workshop. This 5-day workshop will offer new approaches to graphic design from a global perspective. Sixty students from around the world will develop projects with international experts Jan Rajlich Jr. (Czech Republic), Michel Bouvet (France), Rasmus Koch/Adrian Tackman (Denmark), Wladyslaw Pluta (Poland) and Ahn Sang-Soo (South Korea).
Registration
Entry fee: $50 to $100 USD. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accommodation: $8 to $9,5 USD per night at Student College. $15 to $110 USD per night at local hotels.
Travel: Czech Airlines (CSA) offers a 25% discount on flights to attend Icograda events in Brno in June 2002.

This workshop will coincide with the Icograda 'Identity/Integrity' Conference (18-19 June), Icograda Design Perspectives Seminars (17, 19-21 June) and the 20th Brno
Biennial. Brno is located in Central Europe, 200 km from Prague and 100 km from Bratislava and Vienna. In June 2002, the city will be the international centre of graphic design.
