CALL FOR ENTRIES - 21ST BIENNIAL OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
18.02.2008 News
Ljubljana (Slovenia) - On 2nd October 2008, the 21st Biennial of Industrial Design will open at the Architecture Museum of Ljubljana. Biennial of Industrial Design (BIO) is a comparative international exhibition of industrial design, visual communications and design concepts. Since the first BIO event in 1964, twenty successful international presentations of design have been organised. BIO is a cultural event directly connected to industry, the economy, the design profession, innovation, education and development. Through its work it brings the activities of industry and the profession closer to the general public and helps forge links between various sectors. The works presented at BIO will be carefully selected and critically evaluated. BIO Secretariat has issued an invitation to participate in the exhibition, and the Selection Committee will select the works to be exhibited. Just before the inauguration of BIO 21, an international Jury will review and evaluate the selected and exhibited products, visual communications and design concepts, and bestow the BiennialÂs awards. Designers, commissioners, producers, mentors and students are welcome to apply their most recent works.
