29 JUNE DEADLINE: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS 2005 > 2007 ICOGRADA EXECUTIVE BOARD

Montreal (Canada) - Member Associations of Icograda are reminded that the deadline for the Call for Nominations to the 2005 > 2007 Executive Board, issued on 29 March 2005, is approaching. The deadline for nominations to be received is 29 June 2005.
The next two years ahead will see considerable change and growth for Icograda as we develop the new Secretariat in Montreal, welcome new members to the Icograda network, and work even more closely with Icsid to bring the International Design Alliance (IDA) to fruition. Stewardship of this development will be the responsibility of the Executive Board members. It promises to be a truly exciting time as we work together to shape the future for graphic designers around the world.
Each voting Member may make one nomination for each of the offices of President Elect, Secretary General and Treasurer, and four nominations for the office of Vice-President.
At the May 2005 meeting of the Icograda Executive Board, the board adopted the policy that provisional members admitted between 2003 and 2005 will be both eligible to nominate to the Executive Board and their members will be eligible to stand for election to the Executive Board. Candidates elected to the Executive Board who belong to provisional members are subject to their Assocation's membership being ratified by the General Assemly.
Conditions of Serving as an Executive Board member and the Agreement to stand for Election forms are available from the Icograda Secretariat.
