the montréal design declaration
The Montréal Design Declaration, signed by 18 international design organisations, is a historic document that proclaims a unique vision of the role of design in ensuring a better future. The International Council of Design was one of three international organisations that sat on the original Steering Committee responsible for
drafting the Declaration with the International Federation for Housing and Planning and the International Federation of Landscape Architects. The Council played a central role in this process and the Declaration influences our current policies and strategies.
