president’s award

Beginning in 1970, the International Council of Design's President's Award has been presented on a biennial basis by the Council's President. The trophy honours an outstanding contribution to the work of the Council.

Created in 2006, the International Council of Design's Education Award may be presented to an educator or researcher from an ICoD Member institution, in recognition of outstanding innovation or achievement in design education.

achievement award

Created in 2001, the International Council of Design's Achievement Award honours an outstanding career. The Award may be presented to an individual or a team in recognition of outstanding and consistent achievement in the practice, education or promotion of design.
