The Icograda Education Network welcomes Universidad Don Bosco

Montreal (Canada) - Icograda warmly welcomes the 69 member to the Icograda Education Network (IEN), approved at the Executive Board Meeting in Madrid, Spain on 21-22 June 2010. As the third IEN Member in El Salvador, the addition of (Don Bosco University) further expands Icograda's presence in Latin America.
Established in 2002, the School of Graphic Design at Universidad Don Bosco has grown from 70 students to become one of the largest departments in the university. A Masters in Graphic Design programme was launched in 2003.
By providing cutting-edge programmes and new technologies in the area of multimedia and animation, the Don Bosco is an important resource for Salvadorian business and society.
As an Icograda Member, Universidad Don Bosco aims learn new techniques and technologies, track new trends and styles and obtain a greater understanding of the role of design internationally.

Participation is open to all schools offering specific post-secondary programs in communication design according to the specific conditions in each country. IEN schools are able to take part in all programs and projects, and are also invited to propose and host IEN projects and events.
