Mother Tongue curated entries to be exhibited at Originality 100

Taipei (Taiwan - Chinese Taipei) - Twenty seven pieces curated from more than 500 featured in INDIGO's Mother Tongue gallery will be on display at Originality 100, International Conference on Visual Communication Design, 2011 from 17-30 October. The collection was curated by Australia's David Lancashire, a member of INDIGO's Advisory Group.
Originality 100 addresses original design, innovation, indigenous cultures, etc. in the field of visual communication design. The international design conference centres around a one-day keynote event, the Originality 100, International Indigenous Cultural and Creative Design Exhibition and Branding Taipei, a new generation of design workshop. International designers and scholars will be invited to lecture and have discussions related to the theme. Participants and presenters of the conference will explore new concepts, cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary design. The Department of Visual Communication Design at National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) sponsors the event, along with co-sponsors Icograda, Taiwan Graphic Design Association, Art Charity Taiwan.
