Icograda-endorsed Trnava Poster Triennial 2012 calls for submissions

Trnava (Slovakia) - The Jan Koniarek Gallery and co-organisers including the Trnava Self-governing Region and the Slovak Design Centre have announced the eighth edition of the Trnava Poster Triennial (TPT) - accepting submissions until 15 July 2012. Over the last 21 years, the local action has evolved into a prestigious Icograda-endorsed international event.
After last edition's experiment with theme of web design, the competition returns to the original mission of the Triennial - the poster. Relationships of modern media and poster will be exposed during accompanying events.
During the exhibition, to take place from 9 November 2012 to 3 February 2013, the organisers have prepared a comprehensive retrospective of the founder and long-time honorary president of TPT, Joseph Doka jr., who passed away last year.
Trnava Poster Triennial 2012 is a public, non-anonymous international competitive exhibition of posters and complimentary copies issued (produced) between 1 January 2009 and 1 July 2012.
Categories
- (professional) - professional authors - individuals and teams
- (student) - fine arts and design academies students from 18 years of age
- (junior) - art school students from 14 to 18 years of age represented by their teachers.
International jury
Consists of five internationally renowned experts on graphic design and visual communication and an Icograda representative.
