15.12.2001 News
Prague (Czech Republic) - An international Conference on the theme of "Identity/Integrity", organised by the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (Icograda) will take place in Brno, Czech Republic on 18 and 19 June, 2002. This conference will be the first of its kind in Eastern Europe where important needs in the field of Corporate Identity have been identified.
Exploring a new course
This conference will explore a new course in terms of corporate identity - defining new approaches, integrating new values and taking the lead in terms of design development and vision. It will bring new perspectives to corporate identity, as the result of the realisation that the concept of corporate identity as praised in the '80s and '90s is no longer valid - due to rapid changes and crises in world social, cultural and economic structures. As stated by the organisers; "It's time for ethics to join aesthetics. It's time for integrity to balance identity."
Prominent specialists in Corporate Identity
The lecturers include: Wally Olins (Wolff-Olins, United Kingdom), David Berman (David Berman Design, Canada), Ahn Sang Soo (Korea), Keni Windsor (SiegelGale London and Tel Aviv), Charly Fresh (MetaDesign, Germany), Ashley Booth (Ashley Booth Design , Norway), Ales Najbrt (Studio NAJBRT, Czech Republic) and Bo Linneman (Kontrapunkt, Denmark.)
