The Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography is looking for an Academic Head to become part of our dynamic and excellent team from January 2022. The successful candidate must preferably have a PHD but a minimum of a Masters qualification and experience in Higher Education as well as credibility and continued practice in a creative medium.

Position: Academic Head – B A Visual Communications Programme Head at Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography

The successful applicant will: 

- Research and identify new developments/knowledge required in the Visual Communication industry.
- Understand and have experience in all CHE and DHET requirements which form the basis of accreditation.
- Provide mature, academic leadership which enhances learning and teaching across all programmes.
- Drive quality assurance processes that are innovative, reflexive and clear.

The Stellenbosch Academy is a small, but highly reputable private higher education institution and have excellent facilities to work in.  Commencing dates would be from January 2022.
