The Beijing Design Week (BJDW)is an annual citywide cultural event co-hosted by Chinese ministry of culture and Beijing Municipal People’s Government. The event will last two weeks, and overlap the National Day Holiday(1st—7th October) of China every year. Attracting over 2,000 designers, institution representatives and industry experts, over 5 million visitors(person-time), and more than 100 accredited news media in attendance every year, BJDW has become the largest and most influential platform in Asia for display, promotion, exchange and trading of creative designs.

Shenzhen Culture, Creativity & Design Association (SCCDA) is a social organization commissioned by Shenzhen municipal government to bridge and connect the local government with the cultural, creative and design industries.

Centro Cultural Pablo de la Torriente Brau is an independent, non-profit organisation that creates programs and opportunities for dissemination and discussion related to memory, oral history, testimony, visual arts, the Cuban nueva trova, digital art, graphic design, inspired by historical and literary legacy of Pablo de la Torriente Brau and using new technologies of communication and artistic creation. Centro Pablo gathers a community of graphic designers who have participated in competitions, exhibitions, workshops for a decade. The Centre has organised the Salon de Arte Digital for 11 years, closely linked to the work of graphic designers. The Center has organised competitions and exhibitions on cultural issues related to their work programs, memory, Cuban nueva trova, digital art. 2020 is the founding year of the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), the TDRI plans to consolidate public resources from a wide range of government agencies with “the power of design,” promoting design as a central governance value and as a national defense strategy. The Institute is expected to guide the sustainable development of industries and society, which should in turn improve the living quality of the general public. It can assist the government in making national design policy and increasing governance efficiency.
