25 INTERNATIONAL POSTER AND GRAPHIC DESIGN FESTIVAL OF CHAUMONT

The next International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont will run from May 17th to June 9th. The extensive programming includes: exhibitions, workshops, a student competition and an International competition.

International Competition:
As part of the 25th edition of the International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont (17 May to 9 June 2014), an International Graphic Design Competition is being held. It is open to all posters regardless of the subject created after 1 January 2011, whether for cultural, social, political or commercial purposes. The works must be commissions from the private or public sectors.

The purpose of the competition and festival is to review global output in the past three years. They are aimed at graphic designers and design studios, but also at the institutions and companies involved. The entries may be individual or collective works. Artists from all over the world are invited to take part. The selected entries will be exhibited during the Festival, and prizes will be awarded.

All the selected works will go on show from 17 May to Sunday 9 June 2014, as part of the 25th edition of Chaumont Design Graphique. The ceremony to announce the results will take place during the awards-ceremony week-end.


Student Competition:
This 21st edition of the competition-exhibition «Students – All to Chaumont !» is aimed at design students enrolled in public or private art schools, universities, technical and vocational schools for the current year 2013-2014.
The competition will give rise to an exhibition of selected entries, and an award ceremony at the 25th International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont from 17 May to 9 June 2014.


Workshops:
Open to students enrolled in Art Schools are invited to take part in specialized 4-day workshops during the festival.
The enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations must be individual.
